Well, this is my first entry in my very own blog. What do I need to write? Do I need to share about myself? Do I need to share why I chose to have a blog? What do I need to put in my very first entry? I want to share my life but not the mundane things like "today I did laundry". What I want to share is things like "today while I was doing the laundry I came across one of my granddaughter's socks and it caused me to remember just how much she loves the color pink." This is going to be journaling about things that excite me, things that scare me, things that are good or bad experiences. This is going to be my companion to my hardback journals that I have going. It is going to be about lessons I learn or lessons I avoid from the Lord. Yes, I said avoid. There are times I run away from the Lord like a child avoiding getting grounded for doing something wrong. I run and run and yet, the Lord loves me like the Heavenly Father He is and gently guides me back. Sometimes I am kicking and screaming and other times I just nestle in His arms and find peace and the rest I so frequently need. I may include some poetry at times and definitely if I find a devotional piece I will be sharing that. I also will include some sites I discover and will even include things about my jobs and my family.
Now, the reason for the name of my blog is due to the fact that I am not able to get online everyday for personal time. I am a student at University of Phoenix and I am getting my Masters degree in Business Administration. I am doing this online. I work too so I am not able to get on the computer very much and when I do I am doing my homework assignments, etc. So, on the days I can get on my blog you can expect some kind of an experience that is worth sharing or maybe just some whining and complaining. But mainly I want to write about my love for the Lord and what I am experiencing in my walk and adventures with Jesus.
We will uncover, dig up, discover treasures from the Lord together. I go about my day expecting to find some treasure from Him and He has never disappointed me yet. Like this blog thing. I am amazed at the wonderful writers there are out there in the internet world. I could spend all day reading and reading if I had that luxury, but I don't and will read the ones I can during my spare time (let's say IF I have spare time). But when I find a blog I enjoy I will share it with you, too, and then you can experience new friends in your journey in life. Having the opportunity to share my love of Christ with others through the internet is truly a gem of a treasure. I hope that I won't disappoint you in my posts. Just don't expect me to post on a daily basis. I can only promise to post ONE ENTRY AT A TIME.
May you find your own treasures today... Marshel
Posting when I can; praying I can post more often. Wanting to develop a better blog; praying I have more opportunities to turn this into the blog it is meant to be.
