My children...

Oh, how you think that things will not be so stressful where your children are concerned when they grow up.  But, I am finding I am more stressed than ever.  Worrying about Jessie and her health problems.  Worrying about Dewayne and him getting out in three months.  Worrying he won't be able to withstand the temptation of THAT LIFE he was living before being put in jail six months ago.  Worrying about them is never ending.  Your child may grow up and move out of the house.  Your child may grow up and never move out of the house.  Your child may not ever grow up but move out of the house.  Your child may just be out of the house.  But no matter if they do not live with you, they are still your children.  They still are housed in your heart.  They may grow up but they will always be your baby.  The stress may not be as much at different times throughout their growing up, but the worry will always be there.  So, I am going to talk with the Lord tonight as I fall asleep and let Him know my concerns.  I will discuss my children with Him and let Him know how much I am worried about them.  And I know that they are His but they are not living for Him.  I pray that they will return to Him and that no harm will come to them.  I pray that they will open their eyes and find Jesus again.  I pray that my family will be able to say "as for me and my family we will serve the Lord..."
