About Me

I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, a daughter, and a teacher. I am many things, especially a writer. I am a person who loves the Lord. I am a Child of God. I am a Christian under construction. I want to be a Christ-like Christian. I want Jesus to call me "a woman who loves sharing about our Lord and Savior with others."

Snow Day means Rest Day

It snowed last night just like the weather people said it would. My grandson predicted 4 inches. Pretty close. The kids all around may actually get to make a snow man out of this snowfall. I did not have to work today. I am going to be even lazier than usual. I plan on just napping as much as possible. I have the perfect examples of napping pros. My cats have been practicing to be professional nappers for years. You would think they would have it all figured out by now, but they keep practicing. My dogs are great nappers too. They occasionally go outside to do their business and then come in, hop on the bed, shut their eyes and immediately off to lala land they go. But the real pro at napping is my hubby. He can be watching a tv program and fall asleep within seconds. I mean snoring sleeping. I have been an insomniac since I was very young. I try to take a nap and end up watching the tv for hours. If I do fall asleep please leave me alone. Don't bother me. If I get woke up then it takes forever to fall back to sleep. I have to be extremely tired to fall back to sleep. Even taking sleep aids does nothing for me. Too ADhD I guess. But today I plan on taking a nap. I am going to pull my comforter over my head and tune out the tv and fall asleep. What luxury that will be. Even if it is only a power nap of thirty minutes I will enjoy it! Now I know I should do my homework or some housework, but not today. I haven't done housework in ages so why start now? I can do homework anytime today so not going to bother with it right now either. I am going to sign off and snuggle up in my comforter next to the dogs and we are going to fall asleep like the professional nappers we are training to be. While I am trying to fall asleep I will meditate on the verses I have memorized or do some praying for my family and friends and I bet the sleep will come. I am definitely nap deprived. Today I plan on catching up on some of those naps I am behind. Dreamsville may not come, but shuteye will for a little while. Love lots Marshel

Glad to hear your health is better than it has been in the past. I have been writing in our journal. Don't know when I will send it, but its getting attention. And its beautiful just like you.
