About Me

I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, a daughter, and a teacher. I am many things, especially a writer. I am a person who loves the Lord. I am a Child of God. I am a Christian under construction. I want to be a Christ-like Christian. I want Jesus to call me "a woman who loves sharing about our Lord and Savior with others."

I am so excited!

My daughter and her boyfriend had to go to Tulsa to get their car out of impound. They hauled it off yesterday. My husband went with them to drive one of the vehicles back. There is no way my daughter can drive in this stuff and besides she is so ill she can barely hold her head up and when she moves she goes into a coughing fit. So, why am I so excited? Because I have at least 21/2 hours of being at home by myself! Which means, yup you quessed it, I can be online the whole time. Oh, how I am going to take advantage of this opportunity. My husband is never out of the home that long. Oh boy! What a day for me!!

Now to set the selfish feelings aside for a minute. I need to pray for them to have a safe trip there and back. The sun is shining and the temp is now 25 degrees (a heatwave). But the roads are still not plowed in many areas and there is still a chance they could get stuck again. I pray that they will not run into any harm. I pray that everyone they pass will all remain safe and unharmed. I pray that they will make it back without any trouble. And once they come back I will go to the ER with my daughter and get the doctors to take care of her. This is the first day she has been out of bed since Saturday of last week. The only reason she had to go in the first place is because the car is in her name. It is going to cost them $250 to get the car out of impound. At least the car is uncovered from the snow and it got pulled out with a wrecker. There was no way that they could have gotten that car out of a six foot snowdrift and fight the oncoming traffic and the weather elements by themselves. So, even though they have to pay so much just to get the car, the other problems they could have run into is worth the cost. I am glad they listened to her daddy and took him with them. This way Jessie can lie down in the back of either one of the vehicles on the way back home and just rest. Now, I am closing this with thanking the Lord for taking care of my family as they adventure to Tulsa and for bringing them home safely. Must get on with my fun day of blogging and posting to the online groups. Later friends, Marshel
